The Animation Experience is open to anybody and everybody. If you are trying to get into university and need to build your portfolio; if you want to get into the animation industry; if you have a passion for cartoons and want to learn how they are made or if you just like the sound of what is on offer, The Animation Experience is for you.
Courses like this can be expensive and out of reach for some people, but The Animation Experience aims to make it accessible for everyone that wishes to participate. The Animation Experience doesn’t think it is right for people to miss out on education, especially for economical reasons, so great discounts are available including group, self-supporting student, recommendations and low income discounts.

About The Animation Experience
The Animation Experience was started by Daniel Shirley. He found that when he went to university the people that succeeded the most were the students with previous knowledge of and experience in the subject, even though most universities say that you don’t need any animation skills before beginning undergraduate studies. Luckily for him, prior to university he had la great deal of experience in art, but he had also taught himself a range of software and worked on several self-directed projects. Many of the students in his class did not have this prior knowledge, and because of this were left behind in the class and produced a significantly lower standard of work.
Schools don’t focus on specialised subjects like animation so it is therefore hard to gain even the most essential skills like Photoshop. The aim of The Animation Experience is to give students the opportunity to learn specialist animation and digital design skills.
